Universal Wellbeing Philosophy

UNIVERSAL WELLBEING PHILOSOPHY

ReDefined's Universal WellBeing Philosophy is based on the POWER 9 BLUE ZONES research, scientific evidence as to why certain populations of the world live the longest.

Redefined's Universal Wellbeing Philosophy based around 9 pillars inspired by the Blue Zones

NATURAL MOVEMENT

Get more physically active and move in ways the body is meant to move. Functional movement and incidental activity. Walk the kids to school, bike to work, don’t sit on a machine when exercising. Go explore nature!

CONSCIOUS EATING

It takes the stomach twenty

minutes to tell the brain it is full, causing most people to accidentally overeat. Stop eating when you are 80% full. This simple habit can help improve digestion and prevent that uncomfortable post-meal sluggishness.

FIND YOUR TRIBE

Include healthy, like-minded, and supportive people in your life. This could be the most powerful way to add years to your life expectancy. The right community doesn’t just uplift you - it keeps you accountable and inspired every step of the way.

KNOW YOUR PURPOSE

Understand your WHY, and use it as a source of inspiration and motivation to increase your longevity. Your purpose gives meaning to the small, everyday actions that build a healthier, happier life.

EAT REAL FOOD

Eat a diet rich in whole foods,

and minimise processed foods. Eat naturally, wholesomely, and based on your goals, by understanding your energy balance. Aim to have 30% of your diet from quality protein sources.

EMBRACE CHALLENGES

Every one of us faces our own challenges so embrace them daily, be resilient, and reap the benefits of reaching your potential. Each obstacle you overcome builds strength, confidence, and a deeper sense of purpose.

DOWN-SHIFTING

To reverse inflammation related to every major age-related disease, find time each day to meditate, nap, enjoy happy hour, or just make time for yourself. Reducing stress is crucial to your longevity.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Be mindful of your choices and their impact on the world and the future of our children. Only buy what you truly need, and commit to preserving nature and ensuring the longevity of our planet.

BALANCE

Life is about balance. Take the time to enjoy what you can and fully live the life you’ve been given. If, 80% of the time, we prioritise our health and movement, then we can enjoy a glass of wine with friends or cake at a party guilt-free.
