Before joining Redefined, what were your biggest challenges or frustrations regarding your health, energy levels, fitness, or overall well-being?
I have recently just re-joined Redefined after having a year off due to health issues. Because of these issues I was always feeling tired and not having any energy to work out or get my body moving. This had a negative impact on my mental and physical health.
When did you first start training at Redefined, and what specifically motivated you to take that first step and join our community?
I re-joined ReDefined about 6 weeks ago after deciding I needed a supportive environment to rebuild my strength and confidence. Because of my health condition, traditional gyms can feel intimidating.
At ReDefined, the classes are guided, the trainers are incredibly supportive, and it feels like a space where you’re encouraged to go at your own pace, without any pressure or judgement. That’s made all the difference for me.
Could you please share your favorite classes or training experiences at Redefined? What makes them stand out, and how do they contribute to your progress or enjoyment?
I really enjoy the instructor-led classes, especially the reformer and yoga sessions. Having a trainer guide the class makes such a difference for me because I don’t have to think about what exercises to do, I can just focus on moving my body and doing my best.
I love the combination of recovery, stretching, and strength work that these classes give me. I also feel like there is always a focus on connecting to your body, your mind and how you’re feeling, so you’re always moving with your physical and mental health in mind!
Comparing your life now to before Redefined, how have your health, energy levels, physical capabilities, and overall well-being transformed? Are there any specific ‘results’ you’ve achieved that you are most proud of?
The biggest difference for me is how much more confident I feel again. Before coming back to Redefined, I was struggling with low energy and not moving my body much at all, which really affected both my mental and physical health. Since returning, I’ve been able to slowly rebuild my strength, fitness and mobility in a way that works for my body. I’m proud of the fact that I’m showing up consistently, even on the days when it feels a little harder.
Just being able to move more has been a huge win for me.
If you were to recommend ReDefined to a friend or family member, what would be the one key message you would want them to know about your experience here?
Redefined is the most supportive and welcoming fitness community I’ve experienced. No matter where you’re starting from, the trainers genuinely care and help you work at a pace that’s right for you. It’s a place where you can build strength, confidence, and consistency without feeling judged or pressured.
