Somatic Yinny Yumminess is an invitation into a safe space and move and rest in ways that feel nourishing and delicious to you, connecting with our breath and body to tune inwards and let go of what is no longer serving us, along with the frequency shifting Crystal Sound Bowls!
The noise that surrounds us daily from the various roles we have in life can feel overwhelming at times. As a parent or guardian, friend, whanau, work colleague or other wonderfully human role, we can often get caught up in the DOING and GIVING to others constantly without making much time and energy to nourish and honour ourselves.
If you feel called to rest in the shapes for a few minutes at a time or create your own flow, however you want to move or rest is an opportunity for you to explore what your body, mind and soul make be asking of you in that moment. The slower you go the more you feel, which may feel confronting and revealing so that you can create healing and awareness as you can be your own healer and medicine if we are aware of our programmed beliefs.
Somatic Yin, allows space for us to slow down, breathe (through our beautiful nose and belly), and take notice of the thoughts we think, words we speak to ourselves and others, and behaviours we express, with COMPASSION and CURIOSITY versus maybe judging why we didn't do better, or aren't doing better.
The excitingly delicious part of this practice is that through movement, we get to shift our stagnant/stuck energy (which is what we are all made of e.g. food, plants, nature, animals, cars, buildings, computers, ALL OF IT!), and create space in our bodies and minds to EXPAND our perception of what we think we know and how we perceive ourselves, others and the world around us.
If we don't take the time to really listen to ourselves, we can get caught in feeling like the victim to people or things happening "to us", rather than courageously taking responsibility for how we perceive and respond to challenging situations, which will ALWAYS show up for us in life, the one certainty in life is CONSTANT CHANGE like the weather (there are gifts in all weather conditions!!)
The daily practice to consider integrating is loving and accepting ALL of life, because it allows us to know and experience what all spectrums of change feel like. Complaining, comparing, and criticizing never feel good, you GET TO choose what energy and trajectory you want to create for yourself, moment to moment, and without judgement because you are HUMAN!
So try holding yourself and life lightly instead of trying to control it, its so much more fun and heart-filling than moaning about the same old sh@t, thinking those same toxic thoughts, speaking those same self-defeating words to yourself, creating those same stories about what you think could be or is happening (vs seeing the facts you have in front of you now), nothing changes if nothing changes, so lets explore and create together because I'm like you, figuring things out as I go.
YOU deserve to tune inwards, be reminded of your power and courage, and receive without needing to do anything but BE!!
